Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Lighting Project Manager to partner with electrical project managers in selecting, procuring and distributing lighting fixtures for construction projects. You will collaborate with customers on product selection, research and negotiate lighting vendors, manage distribution cost-effectively, and plan resources to meet milestones while handling project correspondence and documents.

Candidates should understand the lighting supply chain, possess strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of lighting supply chain or construction distribution.
• Understanding of electrical contracting, lighting design and construction processes.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail oriented and efficient.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrate integrity and accountability as core values.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the electrical project manager and customer on product selection.
• Research, negotiate and procure lighting vendors and materials with cost and quality comparisons.
• Directly manage the distribution process of the selected product in the most cost effective and timely manner.
• Plan and schedule lighting resources to meet project milestones.
• Manage project related correspondence and documents.
