Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Consultant to support estimating strategy and customer satisfaction from our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role involves planning, executing and finalizing lighting packages according to customer budgets and parameters.

The candidate should have 5–10 years in lighting quotations, plan reading, value engineering and cost estimating, with strong MS Office and Bluebeam skills, and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with 5–10 years of lighting and distribution quotations experience.
• Strong knowledge of plan reading, take-offs, value engineering, pricing and the bid process.
• Organized multitasker who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and in Bluebeam.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, efficient and competitive quotations utilizing internal and external sources.
• Provide excellent customer service, attending client meetings and ensuring customer needs and budget are met.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve construction, technical and coordination issues.
• Represent the company positively with clients, vendors, partners and industry contacts.
