Job summary

EwingCole in Philadelphia or Wayne is seeking a Lighting Designer 2 to lead lighting design and documentation with minimal supervision. This role applies advanced lighting design knowledge to develop concepts, perform calculations, and coordinate lighting systems across all project phases.

You will contribute to client deliverables, participate in presentations, and mentor junior staff while enjoying generous benefits and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or Theater.
• EIT or LC Intern/LC Certified encouraged.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and the Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Creates lighting drawings, details, and coordinated drawing sets.
• Develops lighting concepts and performs calculations.
• Coordinates lighting systems across all project phases.
• Reviews submittals, RFIs and reports on site observations.
• Communicates design intent and cost implications to clients and teams.
