Job summary

EwingCole is seeking a Lighting Designer 2 to lead lighting design and documentation across multiple projects in a hybrid work environment. The role requires developing concepts, performing calculations, and coordinating lighting systems through all project phases, with opportunities to mentor juniors.

You will contribute to client deliverables, participate in presentations, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and interior designers to ensure design intent and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or Theater.
• E.I.T. or LC Intern/LC Certified encouraged.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead lighting design and documentation across all project phases.
• Develop lighting concepts, perform calculations, and coordinate lighting systems.
• Prepare and deliver presentation materials to clients and project teams.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on design standards.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer and other discipline teams to ensure design intent.
