Job summary

EwingCole is seeking a Lighting Designer 3 to lead lighting design across diverse projects in the Philadelphia or Wayne offices. You will guide documentation, coordinate with teams, and mentor junior staff while contributing to client presentations and project strategy.

Ideal candidates bring advanced lighting design knowledge, strong technical skills in relevant software, and a background in electrical/architectural disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or Theater.
• LC Certified or IALD Certification encouraged.
• Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience as Lighting Designer 2 or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and documentation of lighting systems across project types.
• Provide project-level leadership, oversee coordination and QA for lighting design teams.
• Mentor junior staff and support client presentations and project strategy.
• Ensure designs comply with lighting, energy and emergency lighting codes.
• Develop advanced lighting concepts and fixture layouts.
