Job summary

EwingCole is seeking a Lighting Designer 1 to join our Philadelphia or Wayne office. The role supports senior designers, develops lighting concepts, performs calculations and contributes to coordinated documentation across project phases.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and may pursue EIT or LC certifications. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam is expected, with a collaborative, design-forward mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as engineering or design.
• Fundamental knowledge of lighting design concepts and documentation.
• Familiarity with common lighting calculation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers with lighting concepts and documentation.
• Develop lighting layouts and fixture selections.
• Coordinate with project teams across design phases.
• Support submittals, RFIs and site observations.
• Apply codes and standards to lighting design tasks.
