Job summary

P2S|CMTA is seeking a student in Electrical Engineering for a Summer Internship in Long Beach, CA. You will join the Lighting Studio, gaining hands-on experience in design, prototyping, testing, and documentation on real client projects.

The internship lasts 10–12 weeks, starting in June, with in-office schedules Monday–Friday. Undergraduate students with Revit/AutoCAD exposure and FE/EIT is a plus are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited university majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus; knowledge of CAD/BIM standards is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi‑engagement environment and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects as part of the Lighting Studio team.
• Assist in design and prototyping; develop engineering drawings.
• Support testing and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain project documentation and generate progress reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in training opportunities.
