Job summary

P2S|CMTA is offering a Summer Internship for Electrical Engineering students. The program provides hands-on experience in office and field settings, with mentorship and exposure to client projects. Interns join the Electrical Engineering team and contribute to real-world projects in a collaborative environment.

The 10–12 week program runs June to August (or September depending on availability) with in-office schedules Monday through Friday across multiple California sites, including Long Beach.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus.
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards.
• Ability to work in a highly energetic environment; teamwork; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Contribute to design and prototyping by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
