Job summary

Leo A Daly is seeking a Summer Intern to assist in analyzing, designing and detailing electrical engineering solutions that enhance the built environment. You will work within a multi-discipline team on multiple projects, performing design calculations, reports, and deliverable drawings under licensed engineers' supervision.

Candidates must be pursuing an ABET-accredited degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with electrical/lighting emphasis.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing an ABET-accredited degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical/lighting emphasis.
Knowledge and proficiency with REVIT MEP is preferred.
Experience with DIVA for Rhino, SKM PowerTools, or COMcheck is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and specifying electrical engineering requirements for projects.
Coordinate designs with Electrical Designers and multi-discipline teams.
Perform Revit modeling and detailing under supervision.
Assist in site investigations and observations.
Prepare narratives, reports, calculations, drawings and specs with high quality and within schedule.
Participate in client and internal meetings and support project administration and marketing activities.
