Job summary

SESC0 Lighting, Inc. is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop relationships with the outside sales team and end-user customers, focusing on controls solutions for public and private facilities.

You will learn product lines from manufacturers, present to customers, and identify new markets while maintaining profitability and responding quickly to requests. You will be tasked with building strong customer partnerships, delivering value through technical know-how, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Must learn and maintain knowledge on all manufacturers represented.
• Excellent sales skills including cold calling and presenting to customers.
• Ability to analyze problems and multi-task.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Bluebeam/AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with the SESCO outside sales team regarding their controls needs.
• Develop constructive relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside salespeople.
• Identify customers needing controls solutions.
• Solve problems quickly and turn them into opportunities.
• Earn discretionary business from customer base to passthrough Distributors.
• Ensure quick and proper response to all reasonable customer requests.
• Identify and securenew markets and adoption of new technologies within territory.
• Maintain profitability by meeting bogies and containing managing expenses.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
