Job summary

SESCO Lighting, Inc. is seeking a technical resource to support sales and customers with point-by-point photometric analysis using eLUME and AGI32, and to provide lighting fixture selection and accurate layouts.

The role requires experience in photometry, IES fundamentals, and the ability to read architectural drawings, develop complete fixture schedules, and provide timely technical assistance to clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in photometry and lighting calculations.
• Proficiency with AGI32, eLUME and Revit for layouts.
• Ability to read architectural and electrical drawings and schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide lighting product performance information to internal and external customers.
• Produce computer lighting models to assist analysis and product selection.
• Discuss data from product specifications and discuss lighting codes.
• Maintain documentation/records for liability and reference data.
• Stay current with full SESCO product knowledge and attend trainings.
• Assist customers via verbal and written discussions.

Job description

Position Summary: Responsible as technical resource for all sales people and customers working independently and assisting others as required. Provide SESCO personnel and their customer’s point-by- point photometric analysis using eLUME and AGI32 among other resources of specified applications along with technical assistance, and lighting fixture selection in an accurate and timely manner. Must be able to produce accurate lighting layouts.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide lighting product performance information to internal and externalcustomers
• Provideproperandefficientcomputerlightingmodelstoassistthecustomerinanalyzingand specifying the correct products for theirapplication
• Discuss technical and performance data published on various product groups specification sheets
• Have an understanding and be able to discuss lighting codeinformation.
• Maintain paper and electronic documentation/records for tracking, liability, and reference data that may be used at a future date
• Maintain product knowledge across the full SESCO product offering via Internet, literature, orverbal communications.
• Attend product-training sessions when they are available
• Assist customers when called upon via verbal and written discussion
