Job summary

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum is seeking energetic individuals to join our gift shop team as Museum Associates. You will deliver memorable visits by processing sales, stocking merchandise, and assisting members and brick orders, while sharing the lighthouse history.

As a frontline team member, you will engage guests on paths and towers, lead after-hours tours and programs, and help create an outstanding experience for every visitor in a fast-paced, nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and guest-facing skills.
• Ability to operate sales transactions and merchandise stocking.
• Assist members and brick ordering processes.
• Engage visitors across paths, porch, tower and base.
• Lead after-hours tours and programs to enrich visitor experience.

Responsibilities

• Create an amazing experience for all guests.
• Support day-to-day gift shop functions including processing ticket and merchandise sales, stocking, pricing, etc.
• Helping people with the membership and brick process.
• Interact with visitors on path, porch, tower and base.
• Engage visitors by leading after-hours tours and programs.
