DC Army National Guard is seeking a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles in the field and in the shop.

You will inspect, service, maintain, repair, test, and replace vehicle systems, including electrical wiring and charging systems, while developing skills for civilian careers. Paid training and tuition assistance are part of the program.

Qualifications

• Interest in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Interest in automotive engines and how they work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wheeled vehicles associated trailers and material handling equipment systems.
• Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness, and starting and charging systems.
