Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled automotive technician to service light to medium duty trucks. The role includes PMs, reconditioning vehicles, diagnostics, and test drives to verify repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 100+ pounds, basic computer skills, and their own hand tools. This on-site position emphasizes safety and accurate repair documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on light to medium duty trucks, including oil changes and routine services.
• Recondition used trucks for resale or fleet redeployment, including inspections, repairs, and cleanup.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues based on assigned repair line/type.
• Perform test drives to confirm repairs and vehicle condition (valid MVR required for some hires, not all).
• Complete required paperwork and input repair information into the fleet management system in a timely manner.
• Maintain assigned work areas and keep the shop clean and organized.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
