Job summary

The Town of Ashland, MA is seeking a qualified Light Equipment Operator for the Cemetery, Parks, & Trees Division of the Department of Public Works. Responsibilities

Drive or operate vehicles and equipment for construction, maintenance, snow removal, and other projects.
Work with small engine equipment and hand tools.
Maintain cemeteries, parks, athletic fields, and green spaces.
Perform tree pruning/removal and flail mowing.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
Be available for snow operations and emergencies outside regular hours.
