Job description

Our client, a leading Automotive Manufacturing company is looking for experiencedfull-timeLight Assemblers/Machine Operators to start as soon as possible, at their Woodbridge location.

Full time long term positions.

Location: Highway 407 and Weston Rd (Woodbridge, ON)

Shifts Available:

Morning shift 7:00 am- 3:00 pm
Afternoon shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Night shift 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Morning shift - Base pay $18.54/hr + 4% vacation pay = $19.28 per hour
Afternoon shift - Base pay $19.04/hr + 4% vacation pay = $19.80 per hour
Night shift- Base pay $19.54/hr + 4% vacation pay = $20.32 per hour

Responsibilities:

-PerformGeneral Assembly and other operations, and inspection. Training will be provided.
- Performs production work to assemble or fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team production goals. May perform work manually and/or by machine operation.
- Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem-solving activities.
- Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned areas.
- Report any unsafe condition or action or work related injury to his or her supervisor.
- Keeps work area clean and organized.
- Understand responsibility for health and safety.
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety rules
- Perform other duties as necessary in support of team objectives.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Assembler or Machine Operator is preferrredwithin manufacturing or warehouse distribution.
- Basic math skillsand communication skills are required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift upto 30 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Must have:

-CSA approved steel-toed safety shoes/boots, safety glasses, safety vest and earplugs. Must be comfortable wearing them all the time while working.
-Must be able to work full time 40 hours every week.
-Must be eligible to work legally in Canada.
- Can work in-person and stand for longer period of time as required.
