Job summary

ASCO Equipment, Inc. is seeking a skilled Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technician in Wichita Falls, TX to perform inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment, in shop or field settings.

You will work with a team in a family‑owned company with a 65+ year legacy, receive hands‑on training and growth opportunities. Forklift license and solid mechanical/electrical knowledge are valued assets.

Qualifications

• 2-3 year min. of shop/field heavy equipment troubling and repair
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories and principles
• Good written & verbal communication skills for daily reporting
• Good computer literacy skills for email, work orders and beyond
• Ability to work with limited supervision and a certain degree of independent judgement
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license
• Must furnish tools suitable for Heavy Equipment repair
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs in shop or field
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Open line of communication with service manager
• Experience with Curtis Controller, Narrow Aisle, Class 1–5 equipment legacy is a plus
