Job summary

ASCO Equipment is hiring a Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technician in Sherman, TX. This on-site role involves performing inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of equipment, with a focus on high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate across departments to ensure timely and professional support for our customers, as part of a family-owned company with a 65+ year legacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in shop/field heavy equipment trouble shooting and repair.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories and principles.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for daily reporting.
• Good computer literacy for email, work orders and beyond.
• Ability to work within set time parameters and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs in shop or field.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Open line of communication with service manager.
