Job summary

ASCO Equipment, Inc. in Little Elm, TX is seeking a skilled Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technician for an on-site, full-time role.

You will perform inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs across a range of equipment, delivering high-quality service with a customer-first attitude. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in heavy equipment trouble shooting, a technical degree or certifications, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 2-3 year minimum of shop/field heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Technical certifications or an Associate’s Degree.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories.
• Good written & verbal communication skills for daily reporting.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license and furnish tools for Heavy Equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs in the shop or field.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Open line of communication with the service manager.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure excellent customer support.
