Job summary

ASCO Equipment, Inc. in Amarillo, TX is seeking a skilled Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on inspections, maintenance, and repairs to keep customer equipment performing at peak levels.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot and service a range of equipment, deliver timely support, and work with departments to ensure customer satisfaction. We offer training, growth opportunities, and a stable, family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 year min. of shop/field heavy equipment trouble shooting and repair.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories and principles.
• Good written & verbal communication for daily reporting.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license.
• Must furnish tools suitable for Heavy Equipment repair.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs in shop or field.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as schedule dictates.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Open line of communication with service manager.
