Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation is hiring a Lift Station Mechanic / Maintenance Technician in Florida to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of water and wastewater systems, lift stations, and related facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with pumps, motors, piping, and electrical/mechanical equipment. The position works independently or with a team and may respond to emergency calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Hands-on lift station experience.
• Experience with water distribution systems.
• Experience with water and wastewater utility maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and respond to emergency service calls.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and piping problems based on experience and direction.
• Pull, inspect, repair, and analyze mechanical equipment including pumps and motors.
• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on utility equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and service requests as assigned.
• Maintain equipment associated with water treatment plants and distribution systems.
• Operate heavy equipment when trained and designated.
