Responsibilities

• Repairs and installs water and sewer pipes; maintains flow to the master plant.
• Operates plumbing equipment and portable sewer cleaner machines.
• Installs, repairs and flushes fire hydrants; controls water valves.
• Handles contractor requests; shuts off valves for connections and repairs.
• Maintains lift stations; checks pumps and valves for proper operation.
• Repairs water mains, service lines, and sewer mains.
• Maintains water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Responds to calls about sewer/water problems; maintains infrastructure.
• Stores, fabricates parts and recommends equipment improvements.
