Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation is seeking a skilled technician to perform construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of water and wastewater utility systems, equipment, lift stations, and distribution infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have lift station experience, water distribution system knowledge, and the practical aptitude for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, with a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Lift station experience preferred and water distribution experience required.
• Mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing aptitude preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Previous utility maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate utility systems and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and piping problems based on experience, training, and direction.
• Inspect, repair, and analyze mechanical equipment including pumps and motors.
• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and service requests as assigned.
• Operate heavy equipment when trained and designated.
• Complete and maintain work orders, inspection reports, and documentation.
• Perform lift station inspections and fuel system and piping inspections.
