Job summary

Bristol Mountain in New York is seeking seasonal lift attendants to assist guests with loading and unloading from the lift and to help maintain safety throughout operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with loading and unloading from the lift.
• Ensure the safety of guests at all times.
• Conduct open and close inspections of the lift.
• Perform regular track maintenance as needed.
• Check tickets and season passes for validity.
• Check for appropriate ski & snowboard equipment (ski brakes, leashes, safety straps & baskets on poles).
• Maintain loading area of the lifts.
• Present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
• Be friendly and courteous to guests at all times.
• Work with guests to ensure a positive and lifelong memory.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 16 years of age or older
• Must have a heightened sense of safety and ability to react quickly to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
• Must enjoy working outdoors
• Must have appropriate clothing for working in all weather conditions
• Must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

Hours:

• Hours of employment are dependent on business demands
• Must have weekend and evening availability and flexible weekday availability

Starting Rate: $16/hr.
