Job summary

Bristol Mountain in Town of Canandaigua, NY, is seeking a friendly lift attendant to assist guests with loading and unloading, maintain safe operations, and present a professional, courteous image at all times.

You will perform open/close inspections of the lift, monitor equipment, and help ensure a memory-worthy experience for guests, while working outdoors in all weather.

Starting rate is $16 per hour; weekend and evening availability required.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older
• Heightened sense of safety and ability to react quickly to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
• Must enjoy working outdoors
• Must have appropriate clothing for working in all weather conditions
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in loading and unloading from the lift
• Ensure the safety of guests at all times
• Conduct open and close inspections of the lift
• Perform regular track maintenance
• Check tickets and season passes for validity
• Check for appropriate ski & snowboard equipment (ski brakes, leashes, safety straps & baskets on poles)
• Maintain loading area of the lifts
• Present oneself in a professional manner at all times
• Be friendly and outgoing while presenting a courteous manner at all times
• Work with guests to ensure a positive and lifelong memory
• Assist with other duties as needed
