Job summary

Sunday River, part of Boyne Resorts in Newry, ME, is seeking a Lift Operations Supervisor. The role emphasizes safety, guest service, and team support, with daily lift start routines and training responsibilities.

You will interview candidates, conduct safety inspections, and assist with lift operations and enforcement of policies. Seasonal, outdoors, and suitable for candidates who enjoy working outside in all weather.

Qualifications

• Prior ski resort and Lift Operations experience.
• Supervisory experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections.
• Maintain proper snow surface at lifts.
• Set up lift corrals.
• Maintain safety signage.
• Perform carpentry and repairs to ramp structures and lift houses.
• Provide snowmobile transportation to Team Members.
• Interview potential candidates.
• Train Team Members.
• Complete paperwork, workflow assessment.
• Assist with operating lifts and ticket checking.
• Cover breaks for lift operators and other tasks.
