Snowriver, Inc. is seeking a Lift Operations Supervisor to oversee safe, efficient, and guest-focused daily lift operations at our Michigan resort.

This hands-on leader supports Lift Operators with training, scheduling, and operational oversight while ensuring lifts and surrounding areas are prepared for public use. Qualifications

• Experience in ski lift operations or similar safety-sensitive environment.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and support a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of lift procedures, passenger safety, and emergency response.
• Ability to coordinate staffing and respond to call-ins under changing conditions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest-service skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate operational records and follow safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting and outdoor duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lift operations and coverage, including hands-on lift operation when needed.
• Lead, coach, and train Lift Operators to uphold safety and service standards.
• Coordinate staffing, reassignments, call-ins, and break coverage to ensure proper staffing.
• Manage guest flow and respond to guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure inspections, logs, signage, and safety procedures meet standards.
• Maintain lift areas and equipment in safe, presentable condition throughout shifts.
• Communicate with Patrol, Lift Maintenance and other departments on issues and emergencies.
