Job summary

Sunday River in Maine is seeking a Lift Operations Supervisor to lead daily lift start-ups, maintain safety and guest service standards, and support the team. The role includes interviewing applicants and training new Team Members while prioritizing safety and smooth operations on the slopes.

The ideal candidate has lift operations experience at a ski resort and can work outdoors in all weather. Supervisory experience is helpful but not required, and applicants must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections
• Maintain proper snow surface at lifts
• Set up of lift corrals

• Perform general carpentry and repairs to ramp structures and lift houses

• Train Team Members
• Complete paperwork, workflow assessment
• Assist with operating lifts and ticket checking
• Cover breaks for lift operators and other assigned tasks

Sunday River is looking for a Lift Operations Supervisor! Candidates should enjoy working outdoors and be team and customer oriented.The Lift Operations Supervisor performs a daily routine to start the lifts, while supporting their team. In addition to scheduled tasks, the Lift Operations Supervisor interviews applicants and trains new Team Members. The Lift Operations Supervisor focuses on safety, guest service, and Team Member support.
