Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking enthusiastic Lift Attendants for the winter season at Snowshoe, WV. You will assist skiers and riders, ensure proper tickets and safety gear, and help guests have a safe, enjoyable mountain experience.

On-mountain housing is available, and the season requires early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided, and join a diverse international team for a winter adventure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong guest service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests have proper tickets and safety equipment.
• Assist guests on and off lifts with verbal guidance and chair management.
• Monitor guest actions, anticipate issues, and operate lift controls as needed.
• Answer questions and maintain a positive, friendly attitude.
• Keep the lift area and surrounding areas clean, including shoveling snow and checking ticket validity.
• Test lift controls and safety switches, and perform daily equipment checks.
• Document all required actions and report unusual conditions to supervisors or mechanics.
• Assist with lift maintenance and collect litter as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
