Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. in Morgan Hill, CA seeks a compassionate Lifestyle Assistant to support residents with daily activities, social programs, and transportation needs. You will help plan and lead activities, encourage participation, and document programs to enrich the residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Ability to encourage resident participation in planned activities.
• Able to document and develop programs for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents’ fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs.
• Assist with the Community’s arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events.
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass health screens such as Physical, TB, and Drug test.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

What we need from you:

• Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
