Job summary

Clearwater Living in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Activity Assistant to join Clearwater Mayo Blvd, a premier senior living community. You will aid in executing resident programs with outstanding service, reinforcing our people-first culture while maintaining professional image and safety.

The role involves assisting with planning activities, surveys, flyers and calendars, coordinating volunteers, and supporting marketing events; schedule Tue-Sat; growth opportunities in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• AA degree preferred or 2 years in the industry
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Health/fitness certification preferred
• Background clearances as required by government regulations
• Must meet health requirements including TB

Responsibilities

• Attend and assist in planned activities and events, including setup, tear-down, and decorating for holidays or events
• Survey residents and observe interests to tailor activities
• Encourage resident participation in activities
• Create flyers, calendars, newsletters and update social media as needed
• Assist with Marketing events and community outreach
• Coordinate with volunteers including scheduling and training
• Assist with scheduling transportation or driving as needed
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report concerns promptly
• Present a positive, professional image and maintain neat appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
