Job summary

Corvallis SD 509J is seeking an Educational Assistant for Lifeskills to support IEP implementation and individual/small group instruction for students with moderate to severe disabilities in the Corvallis, Oregon area.

You will assist licensed staff, collect data, and support class operations while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment. It’s a part-time to full-time role with a focus on student development and hands-on assistance.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; including communications to parents.
• Ability to interact with diverse cultures or backgrounds.
• Ability to organize and manage information and records efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing developmental, academic and life skills programs.
• Provide instruction to students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Record and maintain accurate developmental data; confer with licensed staff for feedback.
