Job summary

Cincinnati Animal CARE is seeking an Outcomes Manager to lead the Outcomes Department and develop data-driven strategies to maximize lifesaving outcomes for dogs, cats, and other shelter animals. You will recruit, train, and mentor staff while collaborating with internal departments and partner organizations to improve placement and reduce shelter population.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of animal shelter experience preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing a range of teams, including entry-level and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Cincinnati Animal CARE’s Outcomes Department, driving adoption, rescue, and return-to-home programs to maximize lifesaving outcomes for dogs, cats, and other shelter animals.
• Develop and implement strategic, data-driven initiatives that improve animal placement, reduce shelter population, and address gaps in lifesaving programs.
• Manage daily departmental operations, ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and outstanding customer service.
• Recruit, train, mentor, supervise, and develop Outcomes staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Analyze performance metrics, evaluate program effectiveness, monitor trends, and provide recommendations to leadership to enhance operational success.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support coordinated placement and care strategies.
