Job summary

The Town of Wilbraham is seeking Lifeguards for the summer season at Spec Pond Recreational Complex. Responsibilities include ensuring safety at the waterfront and providing first aid when necessary. Applicants must have current lifeguard and CPR certifications. Flexible hours are available, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week during June to August.

Position: Lifeguards - Summer Seasonal

Example of Duties:

1. Provides waterfront safety and oversight for visitors and swimmers.
2. Performs rescue and first aid measures in emergency situations and calls for emergency medical assistance.
3. Must have current lifeguard and CPR certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven skills in all aspects of aquatics and waterfront management.
• Current certifications in Lifeguard Training, CPR/First Aid, and Waterfront Module (provided by WPRD).

Compensation:

$16/hour (for individuals 16 years or older)

Hours:

Varies between 20-40 hours per week (June - August)
