Job summary

Exos in Rochester, NY seeks a Lifeguard to monitor the pool, enforce rules and respond to emergencies. You will teach private and group swim lessons for all ages and assist in developing and marketing swim programs while helping maintain the aquatics center.

Applicants must be at least 16, have current Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid certifications (or obtain on hire), and prior lifeguarding or teaching experience is preferred. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or ability to obtain at hire.
• Prior lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons experience.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain at hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain watch over the pool area to ensure a safe environment.
• Enforce pool rules to prevent accidents.
• Respond to injuries and emergencies per club policy.
• Teach private and group swim lessons for all ages.
• Assist in developing, implementing and marketing swim programs.
• Assist in maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center.
