Job summary

EXOS is seeking a Lifeguard in the Tampa area to monitor the pool, enforce rules, and respond to incidents, ensuring a safe environment for members and guests.

Preferred candidates hold a Lifeguarding Certification with CPR/AED and First Aid, or the ability to obtain them at hire. Prior lifeguarding or swim lesson experience is welcomed and may involve helping develop and market swim programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or ability to obtain at time of hire.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain at time of hire.
• Experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons.

Responsibilities

• Maintain watch over the pool area and ensure a secure, safe environment.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Respond to injuries, incidents, and emergencies per club policy.
• Teach private and group swim lessons to kids and adults of all abilities.
• Assist in development, implementation and marketing of swim programs.
• Ensure aquatics center is clean and well-maintained.
