The Lifeguard monitors the safety of patrons and conditions of the UIW pool. This is a student position open to current UIW students who may be hired through Federal Work-Study or student employment.
The pool is overseen by the Department of Sports and Wellness. Responsibilities include maintaining lifesaving skills through in-service training, monitoring pool chemical levels, and reporting any equipment issues to the Director of Sports and Wellness.
