Job summary

The YMCA of Central Stark County (Ohio) is seeking qualified lifeguards for the Paul & Carol David YMCA to oversee aquatic safety. This part-time role covers weekday evenings and weekends, with starting wages posted at $12.00 per hour and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include monitoring swimmers, attending in-service trainings, maintaining a positive attitude, and staying rescue-ready during shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of age.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification.
• If not certified, willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attends mandatory in-service trainings.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Rescue ready at all times during shift.
