Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking qualified Lifeguards for the Eric Snow Family YMCA. Responsibilities include overseeing the safety of all swimmers and the aquatic area, attending mandatory trainings, and contributing to a positive, team-focused environment.

The role is part-time with weekday evenings and weekends. Starting wage is $12.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience; staff also receive complimentary memberships and program discounts.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of age.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.
• If not certified, willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attends mandatory in-service trainings.
• Positive attitude & team player.
• Rescue ready at all times during shift.
