Job summary

Eric Snow Family YMCA in Canton, OH is seeking qualified lifeguards to oversee safety in the aquatic area. Ideal candidates are at least 15 years old, hold current YMCA or Red Cross lifeguarding certification, CPR/First Aid, and commit to ongoing training.

This is a part-time position with weekday evenings and weekend shifts, offering a starting wage of $12.00/hr plus staff benefits such as complimentary memberships and discounts on child care and programs.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of age.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding.
• Current CPR (BLS) and First Aid.
• If not certified, willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of swimmers and the aquatic area.
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Rescue ready at all times during shift.
