Job summary

North Canton YMCA in Ohio is seeking qualified lifeguards to ensure the safety of all swimmers in the aquatic area. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and hold a current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification, plus current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.

This part-time role offers weekday evenings and weekend shifts. Starting wage is $12.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, with complimentary membership and discounted rates for child care and most programs included as benefits.

Qualifications

• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.
• Willing to be trained if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.

• Rescue ready at all times during shift.
