Job summary

HealthFitness is hiring part-time Lifeguards in Marysville, OH to monitor aquatic facilities and ensure a safe, friendly environment for members and guests. Roles include enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, and performing routine water testing across multiple pools daily.

Ideal candidates will be 16+, hold a current Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED certification, and demonstrate dependable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
• Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
• Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages with strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with member management systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Fold towels, clean, fill water machines and inspect facilities to ensure a safe environment for members.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

HealthFitness is hiring part-time Lifeguards in Marysville, OH!

We’re hiring Part-Time Lifeguards (from 5-29 hrs/week). Work a flexible schedule with hours that align with your availability!

Potential shifts fall within the following hours of operation:

Monday - Friday: 5am-6pm

Saturday: 10am-3pm.

Job Duties

• Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.

• Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. *Site may be able to provide Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate.
• Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
• Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Compensation: $14/hr - $16/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
