Job summary

HealthFitness in Marysville, OH is hiring part-time Lifeguards to maintain a safe and friendly aquatic environment. Work 5-29 hrs/week with shifts Mon–Fri 5am–6pm and Sat 10am–3pm, offering flexible hours for students or anyone seeking extra income.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid.
• Site may provide Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate.
• Dependable with strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic databases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and well-being of patrons in aquatic facilities.

HealthFitness is hiring part-time Lifeguards in Marysville, OH! We’re hiring Part-Time Lifeguards (from 5-29 hrs/week). Work a flexible schedule with hours that align with your availability! Responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all the aquatic facility members and guests.

Job Duties

• Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.
• Maintain a professional attitude.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
• *Site may be able to provide Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate.
• Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
• Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

Compensation

Compensation: $14/hr - $16/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
