Join our Lifeguard Team at the Fitness and Health Pavilion in Montgomery

We are seeking dedicated lifeguards to monitor our indoor and outdoor pools, ensure safety, assist swimmers, and maintain a clean environment. Teamwork and positive member interactions are essential.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years of high school education
2. Ages 16-17 with work permit acceptable
3. American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
4. First Aid, CPR, AED certifications
5. YMCA or other relevant certifications may be accepted
6. Strong swimming skills, including ability to swim 300 meters using basic strokes
7. Previous lifeguard experience preferred but not required

Job Responsibilities:

• Create a positive environment and build relationships with members, staff, and physicians
• Promote safety, perform rescues, and inform management of hazards
• Assist members with swimming and fitness goals, manage lane assignments
• Maintain cleanliness of pool areas
• Support team by taking extra shifts and assisting coworkers
