Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking lifeguards for weekday mornings (4:45am-11am). If you love swimming and safety, this role is for you. You must be age 18+ with American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or the ability to pass the course, and you should be passionate about water safety with strong swimming skills.

You will monitor pool safety, enforce procedures on the pool deck, and keep areas clean. This is a meaningful opportunity with a supportive, nonprofit organization offering growth

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course.
• Passionate about safety around water and strong swim skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and surveillance of all pool participants.
• Understanding and applying organizational safety procedures for the pool deck and aquatic areas.
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing.
