Job summary

ymcastark is seeking a qualified Lifeguard to work full-time hours split between three YMCA branches. You will oversee swimmer safety, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies, while supporting a positive team environment.

Starting wage ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits include 85% paid medical, dental and vision, fully paid disability insurance, 3x annual salary life insurance, retirement participation, paid sick time, generous vacation, and member

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification.
• Willingness to be trained if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attends mandatory in-service trainings.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Rescue ready at all times during shift.

In search of:

• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid
• If not certified, willingness to be trained

Available Hours:

• Specific to branches as needed
• 40 per week
