Job summary

Meyers Lake YMCA is seeking qualified lifeguards for part-time shifts in the Meyers Lake area. Responsibilities include overseeing swimmer safety, attending trainings, and staying rescue-ready during shifts.

Qualified candidates should have a current YMCA or Red Cross lifeguard certification, BLS/CPR and First Aid, with willingness to train if not certified. Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of age.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.
• If not certified, willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of swimmers and aquatic area.
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Be rescue ready at all times during shift.

Starting Wage:

$12.00 - commensurate with experience
