Job summary

Lake Community YMCA in Ashland, OH is seeking qualified Lifeguards for part-time shifts. The role requires at least 15 years of age and current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification, plus BLS/CPR and First Aid. Training is available if not certified.

Typical hours include mornings, evenings, and weekends to cover water safety and supervision. Starting wage is $12.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience; part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for

In search of:

Qualified Lifeguards - Lake Community YMCA

Qualifications:

• At least 15 years of age
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding

Available Hours:

• Mornings: 5:30 - 9:00am
• Evenings: 5:00 - 8:45pm
• Weekends

Responsibilities:

• Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area
• Attends mandatory in-service trainings
• Positive attitude & team player
• Rescue ready at all times during shift

Starting Wage:

$12.00 - commensurate with experience
