Job summary

Alliance Family YMCA is seeking qualified Lifeguards to supervise the pool area and ensure swimmer safety during open hours in Alliance, OH. This part-time role requires at least 15 years old with current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid certifications; willingness to train if needed.

Shifts include open mornings, with a positive, team-oriented attitude expected from staff. Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most YMCA

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification.
• Willingness to be trained if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of swimmers and aquatic area.
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Stay rescue ready at all times during shift.

Qualified Lifeguards - Alliance Family YMCA - OPENER

Qualifications:

• At least 15 years of age
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid
• If not certified, willingness to be trained

Available Hours:

• Monday through Friday - OPENER - 5:15am

Responsibilities:

• Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area
• Attends mandatory in-service trainings
• Positive attitude & team player
• Rescue ready at all times during shift

Starting Wage:

$12.00 - commensurate with experience
