Job summary

Le Jardin Academy in Hawaii is seeking a Lifeguard (Full-time) to monitor the pool area and respond quickly to emergencies, ensuring the safety of students and staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining constant surveillance, performing water rescues when needed, and providing emergency care until EMS arrives; candidates must hold ARC Lifeguarding, CPR/First Aid, with Open Water Lifeguard preferred, and be available 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Open Water Lifeguard Certification is preferred.
• Available Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Job description

Le Jardin Academy is seeking a Lifeguard (Full-time). The Lifeguard maintains constant surveillance in the pool; acts immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of children in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification required, along with CPR/First Aid Certification. Open Water Lifeguard Certification preferred. Must be available Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Hourly pay range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
